Photographer’s Note
...not really a genuine "overland vessel", maybe, but... who knows? :-)
With each new post it's really more and more difficult to decide which photo to choose for the next post!:(
I took this photo by chance between Slussen and the Royal Palace. We were waiting for a bus at the bus stop nearby. There was not much time left before the arriving of the bus and before our departure from Stockholm, and I used one of the last minutes left to capture a bit more of "typical" Stockholm...
In my opinion, this scene is very typical :-) But those who live in the city may disagree ;-)
Unfortunately I don't know what kind of ship it was, and I don't know the name.
In the Workshop: 2 "bonus" photos also taken at the same bus stop :)
PP work: I erased a couple of wires in the sky.
Camera settings: automatic.

Hi Elena,
your POV works very well on this busy place! This is also a typical sight here at Kiel with ships and ferries reaching the city. But you benefit from this singular Scandinavian light and the beautiful summer clouds. Therefore I appreciate the high sky very much. TFS!
Warm regards

Hello my dear Elena
This is a little complicated background, but I am sure you want to describe complex and chaos.
In that sense your intention succeed.
Light management is also marvelous.
Congratulation on your good job !
Thanks for your sharing and best regards,

dear Elena,
a visual world is filled with amazing scenes, indeed.
those are really fun of photography.
this your shot is firstly very joyful, this witty situation is the only event in picture space.
our imaginative thinking is ordinary subordinate to common senses, but the reversal view make us free from those.
we can enjoy putting the cart before the horse.
thank you for your cheerful shot and interesting bonus shots there,
Akihisa

Hello Elena,
I like the dynamics in the composition, as the curving road takes me right to the fine ship!
I notice the advanced communication systems and two lifeboats on this side but I'm not sure this a passenger craft, it is more likely a Russian tycoon cruising the Scandinavian waters...
The varied light is well handeled!

Bonjour Elena
Stokholm semble кtre une ville trиs achalandй si je considиre tout le trafic qu'il y a prиs du port, le paquebot semble trиs beau avec ces formes aйrodynamique

Hello Elena,
A crowded and slightly chaotic city scene, but it's a bit fascinating to see the ship - fit for the ocean- right in the city centre. Basically this could have been anywhere, but the churches in the background remind me that this is Stockholm. And after all, maybe there aren't that many cities where you get this kind of ship, and much larger, in the centre.
One thing puzzles me a bit: you mention that you have erased a couple of wires. But there still are two wires. So?
Regards,
Gert

Hi Elena,
I see you also managed to capture a couple of buses in your shot :)
Yes, has this boat got wheels? Interesting perspective.
Framing well considered :))
Kind Regards,
Graham.
(Another wet & cool afternoon here in Sydney)
