Photographer’s Note

Igelsjöskogens nature reserve consists of spruce-dominated mature coniferous forest with elements of rocky,
swamp forest. The western part is a little magical forest lake, Leech Lake, the reserve named after.
The bulk of forest land has been relatively untouched for several decades with only occasional traces of the older carvings.
Old, rough pine with hints of large moss-covered boulder, valley bottoms of swamp forest character
and the old, crooked pines reminiscent of a fairytale forest. Deadwood in the form of coarse moss-covered with flames,
stumps with ticker and snags are widely distributed.

Hello Anders!

How much I love this kind of landscapes and "intense" nature! Something we don't see very often, but thank God, there some similar places in the mountainous regions of northern Greece, which I visit often! Anyway, excellent nature photography, great framing and composition, I like the kinda "dark" light managment that fits this place of fairies and tales! Congratulations!

The greenish green and the bluish blue are combined into a very pleasant picture, a fine forest capture!

Hei Anders,

I really like your landscape close ups, this one another example for a well composed picture. The sharpness is very good, although I suppose it has been quite dark in the forest.
