For a few days Stockholm has had beautiful weather. Not really warm but very sunny, and spring is certainly in the air. Yesterday I went for a walk among the old parts of Södermalm island where lots of former working class homes from the 19th century have been saved and protected as a cultural heritage.

Good morning Gert!
Yes, spring is in the air - but peoples still wear winter clothes. I like this red/brown colour of many buildings in Scandinavia. It's somehow warm ... and I like that this old house obviously is in a good condition.

Those first days of hope for a better time... I think you have to live up here to understand what it means when the sun suddenly after a long long time start to melt our souls and filling us with happiness.
