As I walked home from work through the Old Town part of Stockholm, I came by Lejonbacken (Lejon=Lion) at the Royal Castle and glanced upwards into the low sun and saw these three lamp posts and statue of a lion as a silhouette against a deep blue sky and sweeping clouds. However, it felt like a B&W-moment, and I shot it so to bring out the silhouette even more.

This is a great silhouette shot Joakim and B&W really fit here...The composition and framing are really perfect.Very well done!

Beautiful composition, Joakim. I like the silhouettes and the steps that created by the lamps. I'll try to get more impact by cropping the sky and creating a square format. See my WS>
Very good job.

Oh, nice ! Great diagonal alignment of the silhouettes, and the sky is just perfect for the atmosphere. It does look good in B&W.
It would make a beautiful square picture, if you like that format, by cropping most of the dark bottom and a tiny bit of the top.

Interessante imagem , talvez um pouco densa, eu teria cropado a parte inferior, aquela mancha negra é perfeitamente inútil !

Nice image Joakim, the silhouette works really well and although I would crop the bottom a touch I like the full sky withit's subtle tones.

Nice silhouette shot. I like it a lot, reminds me of a chessboard and these are the peices on top of it!
I must confess I feel its a bit stronger as a sepia WS, but this is still great too!
