Another one from the Knight´s Islet, near Old Town in Stockholm.
The statue is of Ewert Taube (1890–1976)
He was a Swedish author, artist, composer and singer. He is widely regarded as one of Sweden's most respected musicians and the foremost troubadour of the Swedish ballad tradition in the 20th century.
Following a five-year stay (1910–1915) in Argentina, (thus the title!) he developed an interest in Latin American music and introduced the Argentinian tango to Sweden in the twenties.
He wrote hundreds of ballads, many of them are even today widely sung and quoted by later generations.

En mycket fin balans mellan diagonalen av vita bänkar och statyn av vår nationalidol. Vem kan inte sjunga "Fritiof och Carmencita"? Vacker färgskala i bilden dessutom!
