After been travelling by boat both in the Baltic sea and the lake Mälaren I will remember the bright summer nights with a fantastic summer weather. This photo is taken in the archipelago of Stockholm my favourite place in the area...

A fine seascape shot at a particular hour. I like the simple but effective composition, quite in my line.
I visited The Stockholm archipelago in winter, so nice to see it with summer colours!

Vey nice result with a fg well chosen, good effect with this light and the orange lichen on the stones, good contrast with the blue water.

This is really beautiful! This is obviously what you will take back in your memory to South Africa, and think about when the lions are too close or the elephants are eating all the cabbage in your garden...

Hej Stefan,
The yellow moss makes the flat rocks look like they have absorbed the sunshine and brightens the whole picure. I wouldn't mind waking up early one morning in a cottage with a view like this, at least not on such a marvellously clear and calm day.

Hej Stefan,
I can see that your eyes already got used to the African colors and that you now have found them in Sweden too.
This is a beautiful impression with very strong and pleasant colors. Excellent composition as already mentioned by Didi. Will you miss this wonderful light in South Africa?

Hej Stefan,
what a peculiar colour of the rocks! this special lighting and their colour adds a painting-like style to this photo. Very good composition! and in the distance the sky mingles with the water... there's only thin vague horizontal line left which still divides them.. I like the "Archipelago mood" of this view.

Stefan,

Beautiful shot - the sky and sea almost merge in the gap between the land. Wonderful pools of deepest blue set between lichen encrusted rocks. Yes, I can see the appeal!

A wonderful photo from Stockholm's outer archipelago! You have selected a good POV and the composition is really fine. I like the partially lichen covered rocks on the foreground, the calm sea, the beautiful low light and the very pleasant and tranquil atmosphere. Northern archipelago at its best!
