Photographer’s Note
Around dusk on a winter afternoon on a small forestry road some 10 km away from the nearest permanent settlement I found the frosted remain of someones towline. It made me wonder about under what circumstances that tow took place. Even if this is not too far away from civilisation getting stranded out here with a broken down car is a problem that will keep you busy for a while.
In our modern world it might even make you reconsider if the lowest fares were really a good choice when it came to chosing your mobile phone operator. Getting no signal in the forest means you have to have strong legs and good shoes instead.

Very good view of the road Ebbe,
Good composition to keep the pathway leading the view into the photo all the way up.
Good work with the frame. The clarity is neat. And the vertical composition / crop is a good choice.

Hello, Ebbe--
Nice work on this one, you saw something in a rather ordinary situation that i'm sure many would have missed and made something good of it. i like the placement of the rope, leading in from out of the frame, which gives it added significance, as the 24mm focal length emphasized the foreground so much.
Thanks!

Hej Ebbe,
Really well seen photo opportunity. Frost and low light work well. Wide angle creates tension between the rope and background. Properly done with small aperture and tripod.
