Photographer’s Note
For a young tree the risk of getting lost is quite big this winter. This little pine tree were stupid enough to starte growing in a place where the ground is a little lower than the surrounding and in this spot the wind driven snow builds up a thicker layer. I was standing upright in white powder up to my hips when I took the picture. I could walk away but the poor fellow has to stand there until thaw.

That made me smile! Well seen and captured, and good compo too! The light is good, enhancing the texture of the snow...

Hi Ebbe,
Nice note :)
Who knows... maybe this little pine tree will survive to the snow. I like the way you managed to capture the texture of the snow.

Great observation, and nicely realised, rather like some of Sarolta's recent wintery shots. Nice work.

not the most original way to shoot snow...but when done like this..the most exeptional
such a slight view of the life to come and well exposed snow with immaculate textures
well taken...and simply done with good composition..
