Photographer’s Note

A street in Falun. Falun is a very nice quiet city, quite famous for its very old copper mine.

The photo was taken in bad weather: it rained all week long - while I was staying there at my friend's place. No sunny days:(

We went for occasional walks, and in between rains I took some photos with my old film Samsung camera:)

I thought as there are not so many photos of Falun on this site I would place this photo here.

The photo was scanned; midtones/shadows/sharpness adjusted.

Brown houses galore and I am wondering why? A couple of Volvos and so it must be Sweden! The sky is not the best but your notes of the rain offer an explanation. Thanks for sharing a photo from Falun, Marlene

PS ó íàñ âñ¸ õîðîøî.Òåïëî äîìà è òåïëî íà óëèöå.Ñåãîäíÿ äí¸ì áûëî ïëþñ 10 íî ïàñìóðíî è ñûðî.À òàì âñ¸ õîðîøî.Äà ìû âèäåëè ÷òî â Ðîññèè ñèëüíûå ìîðîçû íî äî íàñ îíè íà ñåé ðàç íå äîøëè ïîòîìó ÷òî äóë þæíûé âåòåð. À òàê Ñëàâà Áîãó âñ¸ îòëè÷íî !!!!
