Photographer’s Note
This is taken from the Falu copper mine which together with the great copper mountain form an UNESCO world heratige site. The copper mountain is Swedens oldest mine works. The copper mine was the world's largest in the 17. and 18. century.
The famous Falu red paint, which many houses in Sweden are painted in, started to be manufactured at the Kopparberget in 1530s.
There are guided tours down in the mine where you walk along in the old shafts and drifts.

Beautiful illumination here. Good job on exposing the difficult lightening conditions. I figure would have been a real hit in this image. But it pretty much works for me. Thanks for the informative note. I, for one, did not know the facts about the Falu paint.
Cheers,
Mikkel
