Photographer’s Note
Ernst Rolf was an actor and singer from Falun, Sweden. Active in early 1900's, he was one of our earliest "hitmakers", penning down songs that are still today rather popular and recording a total of 851 records! He died on Christmas day 1932 in the aftermath of a failed (well...) suicide attempt.
This bust stands in a park near the house in Falun where he was born.
