Photographer’s Note
Tha last days of April, spring is here for good but where is the lake? The ice left for good just a week earlier and I had to get out there.
The story is that the lake, Runn, is part of a hydropower reservoir.During the winter the hydro power plants use as much water as they can but the natural circulation of water is stopped as the water is stored as snow. So when the spring comes the waterlevels are at a minimum. This lake is quite shallow with many rocks and boulders sticking up in surprising places even at normal water levels. Now as the level is almost 3 m below normal it is a good education to paddle around and get explainations to all the collisions with the bottom I have had before.
The trees on left and right here are usually on two separate islands but at this visit is no problem to walk between them.
Strangely enough the name of these islands are Stensöarna (Stone Islands).

Hi Ebbe,
I like this composition, with all elements well located in the frame. The red boat on foreground give sharp tones, contrasting with cool blue. I like !

Ebbe,
Inte så stor tvekan vem som tagit denna bild. Jag fick scrolla ner bildsidan där ikonen fanns för att konstatera att jag hade rätt.
Knivskarpa färger och denna tacksamma röda kanot vackert placerad i bilden.
Tjusigt,
Magnus

I see that you always go back to this canoing place, Ebbe. The red canoe makes a nice contrast with the rocks and the blue water. A very nice and relaxing image, captured very well.

Don't worry Ebbe, it will come back soon, and you'll find your way again between the rocky islands !
Your rocks are very sharp, and the boat stands out perfectly, bringing some vivid colours.
Bra gjort,
Youssef.

Well done Ebbe. Your composition is nice. The red boat stands out agains the grey rocks and the background is subtle and doesn't detract from your subject.
love your work

Hi Ebbe
Very attractive, this red boat on the grey rocks. I like this very well-structured composition, and I'm a bit surprised to find it in your gallery, as you usually seem to prefer close details. Great !

I like this photo a lot, Ebbe; beyond the beauty of the place, the contrast between the red boat and the rocks is really good and pleases me, as well as the excellent definition, colours and sharpness.

I have to pick one of your many photos to plant down my comment, so it'll be this one. I like your ideas and the variety of your shots - it shows an astuteness of mind that is very appealing.
