Photographer’s Note
A dull saturday morning in downtown Borlänge. I had been to early and was waiting for the shops to open. I found this combination of locksmith and hairdresser in the backside shops of our public library building. Thought it was an amusing contrast of hard steel in cool colrs and soft beauty in warm colors. The poster between the windows is for a marketplace for old records, I think that place would be fun for some of you guys.
What more to say, Borlänge is a blue collar town with 46000 citizens, got its town rights as late as 1944. The centre of the town is more or less 1960 - 1970 style like this building.

I like it! I like the different textures and the trendy city feel. I do suggest getting rid of the red sidewalk so that you have a solid feel to the whole. If you're willing to cheat a bit I suggest extending the bottom blue a bit for balance. Cheers Ebbe!

Like the compo and contrast in this capture, Ebbe!
Very good control over light and colours within two windows and the dark part around makes an interesting and natural frame.
Red-bricked pavement breaks geometrical patterns and introduces freshness with these bits of green weed.
