Photographer’s Note
Photo of Stora Luleälv, taken in Messaure.
There is a relatively large dam in Messaure, built in the 1950's. During the time it was built lots of workers moved there with their families and a town arose and flourished. As many as 3000 people lived there (it may not sound a lot to you, but for Norrbotten at that time it was). As soon as the dam got finished people started moving out and Messaure was completely empty in 1980. Now there is little evidence that people once lived there.

Hej Sara,
This is a fine composition, where the river makes a good central element with its diagonal placement!
Sharp fine details, the composition is well balanced with a good feeling of depth...
And I didn't know you have such large rivers up there..!

Hi Sara,
A typical example of well composed picture, just a river, but this POV makes everything so nice and pretty.
Good colors and framing.

Hej Sara,
An interesting note, but as long as I don't have to watch the emptiness of Messaure I can just admire the view of the mighty Stora Luleälv and reflect upon your nice composition, where several diagonal lines will eventually come together to the left, outside the picture. Clear, fine colours.
Hälsningar,
Gert
