Photographer’s Note
The summer is over in this part of sweden , at least if feels like that. and in this bus station the summer has been over for a long time.
like in other remote areas in Europe people escaping towards the cities and the work an what once was a living village becoming a shadow of past times.
This is where I grew up, where I smoked my first cigarette, got drunk and unhappily in love etc...

Anders: by far, my favorite your recent ones - yes, indeed, - the mood (color) here is masterful. Love it. c
p.s. - if not your finest post-processing, then certainly your finest exposure - perfect color.

Hej Anders,
A very personal and nostalgic photo. The colours reflect the mood in your note. An excellent composition and a very good picture of Swedish countryside and a typical depopulated area!

Hej Anders,
I like this one!
You manage skillfully to convey the feeling you want to, convincing me that this place in the middle of nowhere has no future at all...
However, out of curiosity I took a look at some other images from Strömsund (Wikipedia) and found a place still alive and kicking, hahaha!
Good photo job indeed...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hej Anders,
This one is very nice, excellent clarity and luminous impression coming from the top exposure and the warm facade that glows even more considering the surrounding dark conditions. It does look very quiet indeed, for the same reasons as in France where this also happens.
Have a nice day jY

Hi Anders!
Title and scenery-photo like coming from a movie! Fantastic atmosphere created by the cloudy weather, everything seems almost like b&w except this colourful wooden building! Great composition and framing, excellent diagonal perspective! Congratulations!

Hej Anders,
I just got back from Bosnia, among other places, and this reminds me vaguely of that area (minus the bullet-holes). The same emptiness and lost hope. Fantastic light and colours.

hello Anders,
ce joli ciel gris et menaçant met bien en valeur les couleurs orange de cette maison. C'est très beau !
Bonne journée

Hej Anders! This photo really speaks to me. The dark sky helps to set the mood.. You could not have chosen a better time to take this photo. It depicts what is happening to most small towns in Sweden, including the one i grew up in.

Another brilliant mood-showing photo Anders, I like it a lot. The drama coming out of the clouds makes the spirit. Great job!
