Photographer’s Note
Just an emotional thing... one of those days!
but when dramatic things happens around us, especially in Caucasus I wish that borders could be as peaceful and calm as this small cairn of painted rocks . may our childrens only fight with our neighbors, bee in the soccerfields or at the ski tracks.
And fellow Norwegians I love You (but hate to lose against you in sport)
her you se part of the Beautiful Norwegian National park Børgefjell.

While we find another way to understand world politicaly far from the concept of nacionalism, I hope like you fights will take place in soccerfields or similar grounds... Poetic photo with a light full of magic, Anders. Congratulations.

Hej Anders,
Its a treasure of nature up in the north. Wild and "border less" encounter. Marvelous view. Hope you had a good time up there.

Hi Anders,
Beautiful landscape nicely seen. Lovely light you've captured shining on a peaceful location.
I only visited Norway once, thirty years ago, I remember it looked like this.
Cheers

Hej Anders,
The Pov is pure beauty and the view ranges so far away, must be a very pleasant feeling to stand there. Now given the difficult light situation with strong highlights in the clouds it seems to me the ground level is very dark, could be a situation where the infamous D-Lighting would be of some help ?
Have a nice day JY

Dramatic yet peaceful image. Awesome panorama, very good POV, beautiful late light, and a nice symbol of peace in this border cairn.

Hej Anders,
This is really a beautiful picture and an important message, even though we have to remember that only two hundred years ago we were at war with Norway. Many innocent soldiers died, most of them from camp sicknesses. It would really be hard to believe that our contries could face the same situation again, let´s just hope the rest of the world can reach the same status...

Hej Anders,
This scenery is so immense and wild that I feel lost just looking at it. At the same time there is this deeply symbolic meaning of the little cairn marking a national border that anyone can cross freely and peacefully and no guards could care less. Besides, it's a well taken picture with great light and marvellous clouds.

Hej Anders,
An amazing landscape and a wonderful photo. The POV and composition are excellent. The light and colours look very natural for an end of July late evening. Very beautiful clouds. Congratulations!

Hi Anders, Interesting and important note. We have now no borders and it is such a fantastis thing, still difficult to imagine for someone who had been living many years behind Iron Curtain. Splendid view of the far northern landscape.

Hej Anders!
Incredible sky and atmosphere here. Is it early and late in the day? I love the wide landscape such as this one.
You are right about borders. These borders in the mountains are really impressive, walking from one country to another...
Med vänlig Hälsingar.
