Photographer’s Note
This on our way back to Åre after a couple of days trekking with the family up in the Skäckerfjällen ( as you se in the background). A place where Winston Churchill once went for fishing (probably there he got his idea about blood sweat and tears :)
the Lake (Kallsjön) has a depth of 134 meters and are 158 square km and are very rich of fish, especially Trout,Char and Canadian Lake trout which was in planted here in the 50's

Hello Anders,
Amazing beauty of Jämtland, and the calm weather leaves the lake like the perfect mirror!
Seems like this was captured during the resent heath wave in July so I guess the fish was a bit lazy too...
Beautiful composition, the simplicity is eye-catching!

Hello Anders,
This landscape seem wild and isolated. The reflections on the water add a nice balance to the view. The soft colours also enhance the visual appeal of the composition. Good details and centering of the image. Thanks Anders.

Hej Anders,
A lovely view with great shades of blue. The land cutting into the picture adds an interesting irregularity to the composition. The water is really incredibly still.

A beautiful serene atmosphere in your shot. The reflection and the soft tones....Still I think it lacks sharpness a bit. What f-stop did you use?
Yours,
Philippe.

Anders,
This is a great shot of this wild and beautiful landscape. Your composition is great using the reflection to create balance and symmetry. The perfectly still water provides a nice mirror giving the shot a wonderful reflection. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

Hej Anders,
Beautiful symmetry and fantastic reflections. Hard to believe that a big lake can be so calm! We spent a week in this area many years ago, I think it was 1976. I actually caught a char in Äcklingen!

I see that I have missed several great posts from you :) this one is especially great, the calm and cool scene feels sooooo relaxing, I really wish I was there right now. the mirror-perfect reflection certainly adds to the tranquile feeling, but I keep coming back to the colour - absolutely beautiful!
