Photographer’s Note

Still along main street in Bispgården. Just beside the Amazon mock up was a little jewel in the form of a nicely restored SAAB 93. With their 3 cylinder 2 stroke engines these early SAAB-models were a very common sight on Swedish roads in the early 60´s. With that engine they also answered for a lot of the noise and smell in the streets.

The SAAB-logo used here is a reminder of the company´s background as a supplier of aircrafts for our airforce. The silhouette under the text is the SAAB B18 light bomber/all weather fighter that started service at the end of WW II. And the akronym SAAB read out and translated means "Swedish Aeroplane Inc."

Fresh washed car?I like the details,especially the water drops
If i know well is difficult to work/shoot something white but you have managed very well

Are these 2-strokes still alive?
A beautiful colmpo. Ebbe. I like the drops of water on the hood which live-up the image.
I love those antiques.

Nice to see the ancestor of my car!
Sharp and fine and I like the waterdrops.
B&W is perfect on this shot and the composition is good.

I've missed your detail shots. I like the distinctive design of this old Saab. B&W works well. Light shows nicely on the curves and those waterdrops.

It's like a sound from the past, would prefer to called it sound and not noise, characteristic when it went through my village in northern Jämtland when I was a kid in the beginning of the 60's. A time where you actually could here on the sound if it was a Saab, WV or a dielsel Mercedes. It's not my meaning getting nostalgic but those sound are still in my head.
The picture? well done, good comp ect.

A very nice detail Ebbe of the classic car from Trollhättan. Good idea with the close cropping of the front.
