These two scary looking trees you will find on the shore of the lake Storsjö, if you follow the road along the lake from Hackås to Östersund. The trees are located not far from Hackås, right next to the road. Depending on which direction you approach them it looks as if they would try to grab you.

Like you, I love to take pictures of trees, especially when they have lost their leaves; at such times, they take on characters. In this case, you see them as scary which, I suppose they are. They would look even more scary at night, with the moon behind them!
I very nicely composed shot, images well positioned and with good leads.
A nice touch is, one tree set against the sky, the other against the clouds.
Have a lovely day,

Otroligt vackra och uttrycksfulla träd. Med den blå och vita bakgrunden skapar silhuetten ett väldigt vackert mönster.

Exactly or these trees are dead or maybe in winter sleep.
Your picture is absolutely not bad with the edge of the river about a longest position.
Very well composition, perfect captured, lovely presentation.
Excellent done, TFS.

I see a lot of those zombie trees around, they are sure eye-catching. What I like here is the the background - the sky is split in two halves, one is bright blue, a bit grainy but never mind.. and the other with the clouds in strong light gives a cold snowy feel to the picture. And of course it's just perfect for that weird silhouette of the tree. Very well captured.

Good morning Peter,
POV with upwards look on the naked trees, gave a fine contrast against the cloud that halved the blue sky aloft.
The creek on right added fine depth to the image.
Must be an old couple of trees.
