Wonderful motive, beautiful shot.
Hi Anders, you are right, winter seems never to end this year ... we never had more than 5°C since November now, periods with -20 °C for some weeks and also lots of snow here in the South of Germany.
But now snow is melting and I found already some snowdrops in my garden.
So I wish you all the best, hopefully that spring will come soon, warm greetings to you

no no NO! come on, Anders, winter CANNOT be endless, otherwise we can all pack and move to Mars :) the only reason I tolerate winter at all is that sometimes it procuses these beautiful scenes, like here - soft pastel light shimmering on the snow, subtle textures, minimum of details. beautiful, no question about that, but I still hope the road elads to spring :)

Hi Anders,

Impressive white emptiness, only the X-crosses betray some kind of human presence (and that man in the distance). Brrr...this is not my kind of environment, but I have to admit it IS beautiful. And we can only imagine the wind blowing across...

Hi Anders.
A very minimalistic sort of shot, but one that captures the winter desolation of this place so well. Great sense of emptiness, broken only by those vital crosses to show the road. I like the way the pale sunlight is gleaming on the snow on the left side. Really good shot that deserves more credit.

Beautiful colours and light reflections in the snow field here. The track curving up here to two distant skiers is very fine. How cold was it here?

very well executed minimalism. I like to see all that vastness and the pathway suggesting a walk as the guys well do in the horizon line. Good distribution of the elements and pleasant light. Great job!

Excellent capture of the coldness and of the "winterness"! Very good perspective. The road leads to.... ?...

Det har varit länge sedan jag var aktiv här ...
Den här bilden är väldigt vackert :)
Snön som vi inte har lika mycket av i NL om överhuvudaget ...
Det rena mjuka ljuset men mycket skarpt i ögonen ändå.
Bra färger även om det är många vita toner.
