This huge rock was found near the road from Jorm in the most northern part of Jamtland in Sweden, we were so awed by the totally solid impression it stood there with, so we had to stop the car and take a picture...
Note that the little jaggy line on top of the rock and to the left is actually trees, so it's quite high.
Cropped it in photoshop and made it B/W...after that i fixed the levels a bit to make the shadows less compact.

A very impressive rock ! Its form makes me think to Ayer's rock in Australia ;o)
B&W is a good choice for me : it gives some "dramatism" to the scene.
I just regret that the house and the trees are leaning and also maybe the electrical wire (but for that you can't do anything ;o) ).
The composition is excellent.
Nice and interesting shot, Kent !

Welcome to TE, Kent. Impressive rock you've captured. And nice to present it in black & white, it really brings out the formations.
Actually you can do something about the distortion (the inward leaning) in the picture. I could show you if you allow Workshop.

The mountain is called "Kalberget" or the sleeping lion. and it situated along strömsvattudal. Its well-known by the locals for its extraordinary flora and trees that you normally only could find in the southern part.
