Photographed on a folk festival of the Sami people in Funäsdalen / Härjedalen. You could throw a lasso after the reindeer heads and try to get as many points as possible.
I like reindeers alive much more and thought that this was macabre.

I am sure that the Sami who practically worship the reindeer and depend on them for their ways, would not harm them. These antlers must be remnants of deer slaughtered for meat. As for lassoing, it's a skill that they are proud of. Seeing so many in a concentrated area can be macabre for those who go to the supermarket for their meat- as for me, thanks for showing me this scene as it's some proof that the Sami's ways are not dead.Regards. Klaudio.

It doesn't appear macabre for me as it belongs to Sami folks, good idea to highlight that specific culture I respect. For thousands of years these people live in that region and keep their traditions, many antlers of reindeer on stakes, high definition with nice colors
A value report to my eyes, they're few pictures of that area, all the best

A bit disturbed whensaw this at first, Peter, but must admit, photojob done very well.
Good sharp elements appear, the many horns are impressive - yet, my feelings are for the deers.
Have a nice weekend,
