Two houses by the sea Photo

Photographer’s Note

This picture is taken in fishing village of Kuggören. This village is situated by the Baltic Sea in a peninsula called Hornslandet in the province of Hälsingland. Most of the houses of the village are now summer houses, but there are still two or three fishermen left in the village.

Hej Ulf,
These are my favorite colours, at least in a photo: the red hut, the white corners and the blue sea! This is also well composed with the clear white corners etc. in good angles. The ground looks very stony and sterile although there are some green patches in the background. A very Nordic picture!

Very simple, very efficience, very beautiful. The red colors of the two houses arise very well in the image. The anaother colors are too very well colected. Great prospect to the sea too.

Nice contrast of colors with such a light, perfect sharpness, concerning the composition i think that a position more on the right for the cabin was more interesting to have a large view of the blue water on the left side ...

These sturdy and colourful little fishermen's houses dominate the scene in a striking way. The combi of different lines/textures (houses vs the rocky ground) is pleasing to the eye too. A simple and lovely compo - I like it a lot !

This is a very appealing image, probably also because of the clean attractive colours!

it is indeed the Scandinavian mix of colors that makes this impression very attractive. The perspective of the houses is fantastic and the colors are amazingly bright. A very pleasant composition. There was one important lesson among the many rules I learned here and that is trying not to center the subject of a composition. I think this will work here too. But it is nevertheless a very fine photo. TFS!

Hi Ulf!
So typically Swedish and typical of the Baltic coast! The Swedih red comes out perfectly on the Brownish rocks and on the beautiful blue sea!
The sharpness is excellent!
