Photo Session, a photo from Vastergotland, Gotaland

Photographer's Note

While taking a walk through the Castle Forest (Slottsskogen) I saw a group of people taking pictures of a model. I have no idea what the purpose of the pictures was, I didn´t want to disturb them by asking.

In the WS you can see a picture of the girl alone.

Wow! Very nice model, Gunnar. Good capture of a photo session process. Very original photo work, no doubt.
Lady In Red (with blonde hairs) is a very popular image.

Hello Gunnar,

Another of your fine pictures, again with your "signature" red object (this time the "lady in red") placed perfectly in the frame. The composition is anchored by her but, as I am sure Peter would say, there is also a strong horizontal "line of force" across the upper part of the picture as the model and the left photographer are clearly engaged in strong eye contact.

Lovely colours and, as usual, stunning sharpness and detail.

Although you didn't enquire of their purpose, I'm sure that this group of people did see you and were aware of your picture taking. Did they have any objections?

And what a curious looking support they appear to have for a camera. It doesn't look like a tripod - it looks more like a clothes stand or something like that!

Hej Gunnar,
A triangular adventure in the forest. A nice combination of a carpet of rusty coloured leaves and the lady's very bright dress. The triangle is well kept together on the longer side by the two visible faces and their eyes that seem to meet. The sharpness and light manegement are very good.

You have two fine shots, here. I'm not sure which I like the best!
The colours and the textures of the woodland make a lovely b/g in the perfect positioning of these figures.
You have an amazing abilty to find people dressed in red!

You found a different kind of daily life event here, a photo session of a a model, who seems to have cold in her thin red dress. The guys are just pondering technicalities, while the girl looks like thinking "take those damn photos, I'm freezing!" :-)
The photo is a great shot in all aspect, composition, colours, sharpness and depth. Well done!

I think you did the right thing here. "Sköt först och frågade sedan" The result was very good and an amusing scene. You could imagine that the young lady might have had difficulties to look good in a probably rather cold day in November. TFS and Gott Nytt År!
