Photographer’s Note

This is Husargatan (Hussar Street) in the part of Gothenburg called Haga. This is also a so called living street, where pedestrians can walk in the middle.

You can see the typical houses here, with the ground level built of stone and the two upper levels built of wood. The bigger house at the center here was built for a very rich metal-sheet worker about 100 years ago. He wanted something extra to show that he was rich.

Today there is a nice café here, Café Husaren (Hussar Café) with the biggest "kanelbulle" you can find in Gothenburg.
