Photographer’s Note

A young girl trying to catch a sea trout in the Göta River. This is, however right in the harbour of Gothenburg, a very good place to catch sea trouts.

The ship in the background is named Stjärnö, which means Star Island.

hi Gunnar, nice shot, but was there also nice catch? When we were in Norway it was for me very strange that people caught codfish in fjords. It seemed to me that they just grow in the shops:)) .

Hej Gunnar,
after analyzing the photo a little (I thought you could have taken a few sequential shots and maybe chosen another POV) I came to the conclusion that this way the shot looks the best and dynamic :)
I used to go fishing when I was a child... but I don't, anymore now.
Are there erally sea trouts in Göteborg? ;)

Bonjour, cher ami Gunnar,
Cela me rappelle ma fille ! ;o) la tenue n'est pas vraiment celle d'un pêcheur, de plus, pas d'épuisette, pas vraiment de matériel pour réussir une bonne pêche !
J'aime ce moment où l'enfant souhaite faire comme les grands. Une chose est certaine la photo est réussie à tous points de vue.

Good movement in this picture and a fair view of a part of the Gothenburg harbour. It's nice to know that fish caught here is quite edible, just like in the central Stockholm.

I know the trouts of the Loire river but in the sea it's Salmo Trutta :)
Oteirwise it's an interesting decisive catch of this nice fishergirl.
