Photographers Note
This is at Lilleby Båthamn (Little Village Boat Harbour) in the northwestern part of Gothenburg.
The swan seems to be quite sure about the complicated navigation out of the harbour, knowing everything about port and starboard and the meaning of the sea marks here.
In the WS you can see that it managed to navigate out int the open sea.

Good morning Gunnar,
Your note made me smile. A well seen and presented photo. A beautiful landscape and the marks are nicely positioned. Very natural colours and excellent sharpness. One interesting detail in these lateral marks is that in the American continent, the red and green marks are reversed, so that the upstream left-hand mark (port) is there green, whereas here in Europe it is red. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Gunnar,
I like how you have framed this lovely composition with the lights and swan forming a diagonal line along which the eyes are naturally drawn towards the red house on the far shore. Excellent light and sparkling clear tones.

Hallo Gunnar!
In combination with the note, the link and the WS photo a wonderful contribution here. I like especially the light you caught here and these bright seamarks in front of this darker sky. The swan is a lovely addition.
I think I can smell the sea ... ;-))
Greetings from southern Westphalia!

Hej Gunnar,
lovely and great atmosphere of the Baltic Sea. The low lying clouds over the water add so much to this atmosphere. I like the title very much!. The swan is of course the icing on the cake.

Hi Gunnar,
Navigare necesse est, vivere non est necesse - I do not remember where I saw this motto. Funny observation - very clever swan. I do not know the meaning of the sea marks. Splendid colours and sharpness. Very nice seascape.

Bonjour Gunnar,
la composition est vraiment toute simple, sans prétention, mais elle nous place au bord de cette étendue d'eau, comme si on y était pour de vrai.
Des couleurs fraiches sous des lumičres bien maitrisées, cela se voit ā la qualité des blancs.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hej Gunnar,
curious photo and a curious smart title :)
I like the perspective, with these sea marks with colourful bright tops which look like small lighthouses! The swan is a clever bird, so he/she knows the way ;)
But the sky looks rather dramatic... as if there's going to be a snowstorm or thunderstorm.
Warm regards,
Elena

Gunnar,
Your composition is great here using the navigation makers and the swam to create a line through your shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

une belle opposition dans ces deux phares, le cigne au milieu semble servir d'arbitre dans le cadre une lumiére et une netteté nickel

Hej Gunnar
Beautiful composition of sea shore, these buoys and white swans and blue water. I like the shores of the Baltic Sea here. This sea is different from the Black Sea. My city of Tiraspol is 100 km from the city of Odessa is Ukraine. There is no such stones and in sand. Thanks for the info to the photos, learned many new and interesting
Thanks for sharing!

Hi dear Gunnar,
Good pov and nice capture. Specially the lonely swan gives life to the scene
I only wonder if the entrance of this harbour is that narrow, or is it due to the telelens you may have used.
TFS and best regards

Hi Gunnar!
Another pretty well elaborated composition in a priviledged viewpoint picture!
Sharpness is also excellent, exposure is totally correct and colors, again, are natural and beautiful!
All the details are put together so nicely in order to turn this image into something pretty eye-catching and enjoyable!
TFS - Congratulations!

Eye-catching picture, great colours. I like the way the eye is led up from the bottom left and then is flipped left by the rocks, echoing the waves behind the swan. Lovely texture of stones and white post.
Thanks for this smell of the sea!
Best wishes,
Winifred

Hej Gunnar,
Helt klart en svanmärkt bild. Men färgerna är också bra och kompositionen gör ju inte saken sämre. Starkt gjort att kunna hitta ut ur den här hamnen!

Hi Gunnar
It's the first time I see a swan on the sea.
Very interesting lighthouses, Perhaps it's possible to take a picture in the evening with the lights on ?
Best regards

Hi Gunnar,
The beautiful harbor beacons standout brilliantly against the blue sea and sky.
Very clear crisp colors, sharp details and fine depth to this compelling composition.
The lovely swan does seem to be right at home in this atmosphere.
Regards, Tom
