Looks a bit older than my junior anglers of yesterday :-) A well framed composition that benefits from a lovely light and some beautiful reflections. Th red top adds a nice splash of colour. Very good sharpness.

A very good composition with fantastic colours, including your favourite red teeshirt. This really looks like a photo inserted into a painting.

Hello Gunnar. Anglers are a completely special topic. There are the professionals and the amateurs, who fish only occasionally. This seems to be with the boy the case. Perhaps he wants only fun. Interesting also still the reflections are in the water. Best regards, Wolfgang.

hello Gunnar,
I like the subject matter here as my husband and sons are anglers. This reminds me when my boys were this age and they fished for carp in the moat of a chateau when we were on holiday in France.Perhaps you have slightly overdone the saturation (noticeable on shirt and grass) but I like the colours and patterns of the reflections.Good title, being a reference to a famous book on fly fishing by Walton ?

I was as impassioned angling as this kid, but now, with the time which passes… I do not fish any more but occasionally. I appreciate the composition, off-set on the side, and the superb reflection. The bright color is better effect. Very good framing. Cheer.

The young angler is very eye-catching in his red shirt, and the distorted ripples in the moat are very attractive. You composed the image well with the angler on the left with the angle of his body facing into the frame.

now, I'm pretty sure: you do always carry a spare red t-shirt with you and offer it to someone to put on so that you would take a shot ;)))
Seriously now... I like the reflection in the water, and by the shapes I'm trying to guess what sort of buildings are "up there" on the ground.
