Photographer’s Note
Last weekend winter suddenly appeard. Tou can see the snow on the hill side. Snow and minus degrees..brr.
Normaly you take your boat up on land in october to prevent it to be damage by the ice. It also takes a couple of weeks to get it "dry". If it is not fully dried the coldness can broke the surface of the boat. That goes for booth plastic and wooden boats.
So someone might ask why is this boat still in the water? What do I know?..., but I guess that the owner either have the possibility to store the boat indoors or... the lake Vättern is so deep that the ice only stay average every 7th year so the owner might take a chance...

hejsan Stefan
so this is the icebreaker for the lake of vättern.
The low light gives the wintry mood, and one boat makes the jetty more abandoned then no boat.

Hi Stefan,
I like your point of view with a lot of depth and clarity, this lone boat remaining, the nice sharp colours. Winter is coming and looks beautiful...A bit melancholy pic and very very nice. Informative note as well!
Cheers
Have a nice day

Hej Stefan,
Very good perspective and fine depyh in this picture. The boat is the central, with very fine colours. Also very attractive with the mist along the hill in the background.
