Photographer’s Note

This has been a place for a mill since 1670:ies. The old mill was taken away in the mid 1900 centuary when this building was built. During the 2000 centuary the building has host a mechanical industri, a shoe factory etc. To day it host an antique shop.

The name Stallkvarn means ”The Stable mill”.

Stefan,
This is a well composed photo with nice lines and angles. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail. The use of a polarizing filter would have helped here by preventing the sky from overexposure.

Must be a wonderful environment from a photographers POV to walk around . old buildings and water is at least one of my favorite.
the spring day light is hard to work with, as the contrast is very high and needs a bit of Photoshoping.
Dont know what PS version you have if you have one. but there is some really good tutorials.

nice and idyllic the environment of this place with the wooden bridge that over pass the little canal.The recorded colours and the light are well managed and the result is well made.

A fine picture of our industrial heritage. I´m always interested in and appriciate pictures with industry history. A fine and well composed photo. The sky seems a bit overexposed to the left but otherwise very fine.

A very welcoming looking place, I like the brownish tones of the mill and that it is kept so well and still busy even if it's a shop. The sky is a little overexposed, and I think you could have obtained a bit more contrast on the trees on the left. Overall a very pleasant image.

What a lovely view of this old mill and 'factory' building. As some of the above criticers I also think that there is a bit oe in the photo. Otherwise, well composed and a great point of view. Great colours.
