Photographer’s Note
From Sjöaryd village, Markaryd parish in the county of Kronoberg. The cottage was moved to the City park of Jönköping in 1904. The middle section, with its ridgepole design and overhead windows, dates from the 1600s. In the 1700s, the northern high loft was added on. The southern high loft was then added in the 1800s. The entrance was then moved to its current location. The upper floor of the high loft was used for grain storage. The cottage is furnitured with furniture and objects from the 18th an 19th centuries.

Hej Stefan,
This has a strange mood (maybe needs a bit more of contrast) of a dull dark age when people where starving and went to chursh on sundays (As very few doing that in nowdays Sweden) the comp is attractive and the object interesting.

Hej Stefan,
A very typical old house and a good capture. What is the colour of this building? A fine and very appropriate TE picture!
