Photographer’s Note

In the City park of Jönköping the home arena of Jönköping Södra, Football Club, Statsparksvallen is situated.

Tonight the home team had another lost as many times this season. The team is fighting for its survival in the second highest league in Sweden.

Its easy to recognize a team that are struggeling for its survival. This picture taken after the end of the game speak to it self.

love this minimalistic shot, particularly the matching colours of the shirt and grass. the symmetrical shadows add to the geometry of the image, very well seen and presented.

i´m not a fan of football but i always look when the country team is playing :)

fantastic shot. The image speaks for itself. The low head, the slow walk to the shower, the loneliness... yes, they just lost another game and he is thinking over and over why? the composition and the colors are fine, but for me the shot tells many tales. TFS, Rafa.

A very fine shot with the lines on the grass, the shadows in each direction and just this lonely player looking quite depressed.

Hi Stefan Zetterlind

You have accomplished so much with so little here. A solitary player, with his head bowed walking off a deserted pitch. It all communicates a feeling of disappointment and despair. Which I'm sure is exactly what you intended.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this shot, but I think that I can do something to strengthen that emotion here. Not better, just different so check my workshop.

Hej Stefan,
A very simple composition, but a very strong photo. The last player on the field thinking and grieving of another defeat. Very well seen and captured! I also like his four shadows. Hälsningar,

Olá Stefan,

This picture is very interesting cause the expression on the player really indicate many feelings. Could it be unhappy, strong or simply tired.
