Photographer’s Note
Midsummer time in Sweden, the lightest time of the year. Evenings are bright late into midnight. Here is a group of dancers from Huskvarna dancing in their traditional costumes on one midsummer night festival outside Jönköping. In the back you can see the traditional midsummer pole.

Hej Stefan,
Midsummer..maybe one of the best part of the year with the bright nights. I wish it could last longer..
Very fine photo with the dancing people, i can almost hear the musicians in the background. If this shot was B/W this situation could be captured 100 years ago. Fine Pov, colors and sharpness, Tfs !
Bästa sommarhälsningar.

Hello Stefan,
this dance between the trees is very charming, and colors are the best to celebrate the life.
I would have heard the music....

Hej Stefan,
So you could not resist going home for Midsommar!
I also notice Norway is on your schedule in a couple of days, I hope you will find some fine photo opportunities...
I guess what you show here is maybe the most typical Swedish scene to the outside world!
Greetings,

Hej Stefan,
here is another Midsommar shot :) This makes me remember the dancing around the Maypole in Falun! LOL It was just as colourful and funny.
Very nice, pleasant, picturesque capture of the moment!
Kind regards,
Elena

Hej Stefan,
so you went home for this nice celebration! And what a pleasant image to illustrate midsummer. As already mentioned, it is timelessly beautiful. A classic contribution in the best spirit of learning about the world. TFS!
Warm regards

Hej Stefan,
I believe this is exactly what you are longing for when you are far away, on a different continent! Folklore and knee-tassles! And the folk music, just as we can hear it here ;) A very colourful and somewhat nostalgic picture!

Hej Stefan,
Some change from South Africa, I would say. This picture could have been taken 100 years ago (in b&w). So traditional it's almostr overwhelming. These costumes make for a very good colour picture. The large ring on the lawn also makes for a good composition.
