Photographer’s Note

Dear TE Friends,
The sculptures which can be seen on the picture are visible in the downtown of Malmö. The parading musicians give pleasant and funny mood to the walking street of Malmö. I hope, you like this mood. Have a Nice weekend!

Informations for Malmö:

Malmö is with its 280 800 inhabitants Sweden's third largest city. The city was founded in the end of the 13th century and is today south Sweden's commercial centre.

Visiting Malmö has never been easier. With the bridge - Öresundsbron - between Malmö and Copenhagen (Denmark), two of northern Europe's most expansive areas are joined together.

Malmö is the seat of Malmö Municipality and the capital of Skåne County. Malmö is also a bimunicipal locality, as part of it is Burlöv Municipality. The total population of the urban area was 258,020 by the end of 2005, of which 9,108 were in Burlöv.

Malmö was one of the earliest and most industrialized towns of Scandinavia, but until the turn of the millennium had been struggling with the adaptation to post-industrialism. Since then, Malmö has become a new city, with impressive architectural developments, attracting new biotech and IT companies, and particularly students through Malmö University.

The city contains many historic buildings and parks, and is also a commercial center for the western part of Scania. During the last few years a university college (University College of Malmö) has been established and the city is now trying to focus on education, arts and culture. Malmö was ranked #4 in Grist Magazine's "15 Green Cities" list in 2007.

A very original monument and shot. It has some humorous touch in it. I also like the juxtaposition of grey stony figures contrasting with the sunlit people's figures in the street.

hello George, the presence of the tourists which saunters in the middle of the sculptures which seems paraded, in addition to the opposition of sight with this one brings more to this photograph, a photograph all moving to adapt well to the body expression for an astonishing similarity and scenic characters detail them sincerely who arise ideally well from the image because of camera angle, bonjour George,

A colourful street scene, and I like how the people are placed inbetween the sculptures as they are walking along and sitting, so that is well timed. It's always nice to see artworks on the street.

Nagyon érdekes és mókás utcai szoborcsoport! Tetszik ez az oldalsó perspektíva, és a pillanat is amit elkaptál, ahogy a figurák között sétálnak az emberek. A háttérben lévő étterem két ablaka pedig kiváló utalást ad a szimmetriára.
