Photographer’s Note

The Port of Helsingborg has an excellent location and is one of Europe's leading ports. The municipally owned port has around 250 employees and it handles around 10.5 million tonnes of cargo per year. In 1996 and 2001, the port won the “European Port of the Year” award.

In the back you can see Denmark.

Your pure sharpened and well contrasted city textures are stunning since its thumbnail. Especially copper roofs, terracotta facades and blues on sea and sky are fantastic with white ships. Great capture, congratulations.

Beautiful place and strong and well saturated colours. I like the comosition with the City Hall tower in the right place and the wave breaker from Parapeten nicely surrounding the harbour and the ferry (was it Tycho Brahe?).

It's a fine view but I think there is a too strong blue tone to the picture. I tried to nuance the colours a bit in a workshop. Hope you don't mind.

A fine aerial view of this interesting and nice city. the polarizer made a good job and so do you. the leaving white ship
and the tower at the right are two natural eyecatcher. Very sharp and neat.

your point of view deserves congratulations especially on this photo. what an angle , only a detail but important : as we see the entrance of the port , the breakwater has a curve you ve got that too.
