Let's take a break from the tropical bounty of SE Asia and have a quick dip in the Oresund, this straight that flows between southern Sweden and Denmark.
Mid-March, the Swedes are now dreaming of spring, long sunny days etc... They even installed the garden's furniture under the anticipated shade of the fruit trees. Yet the daffodiles got covered in a thick blancket of snow. Coming back from SE Asia via southern France, winter was over for me. It was a shocker to come back to winterland!
