Great composition, Jack. The lighting inside is just right, allowing us to see some detail around the window. Beautiful colours outside - and I like how the sky and grass are perfectly divided by the window frame. Well captured.

Nice shot, especially well handled exposure, keeping the detail in the wall, and not burning out the landsacpe.

I find there is often nostalgy in photos taken behind a window.
But not in this one, which is joyfully with its tender greens and just the ray of sun in the foreground.
The centered composition is a good choice here and the exposure is perfectly managed.
It's just a pity that the image is only 63 ko because the compression has made small damages on it.

It´s not easy to obtain a final result like this, with that conditions! I know it. But you did!
Very good light game. Well composed too.
Nice job Jack.

Very beautiful composition, Jack, with a perfect light which is not easy to get in this conditions ... looks almost like a painting or 4 paintings. Very well done!

Very effective and lovely, Jack - great play of light and shadow. I love the depth provided by those walls and the way it is symmetrical but not completely so.

Very good colours in your picture, which make it really relaxing. You propose an angle which gives you the impression you're really in the place. The lighting here is very good, a good balance between outside and inside.

Splendid window shot, so colorful and sharp, both inside and outside. A calm setting. Very well done Jack.

What else I can add? For this theme you have the great merit to see the things by the other side, from the interior. This is a great quality for a photographer: never stop at the first pov. Try and try. Up, down, left, right. Move, move. At the end you sure capture something unique. Very well done.

Hi Jack...the textures are so good. Light makes the picture dramatic. Good colors too.

youn could divide the window in 4 parts
-A- what is urgent and necessary
-B- what is not urgent but necessary
-C- what is urgent but not necessary
-D- what not urgent & not necessary

Burdallet : I like your comment a lot !
It really fits with the picture.
As for the window, my favorite part is the inside of the window where we can see walls. The lighting gives a enclosed impression, and that if you open the window, there will be no boundaries.

Very nice window shot. Impressive how you got both the inside and out side in clear view (not too dark or too bright). I wonder if you did PP to get to this result.
Any way, the composition is interesting, with the symmetric 4 squares dividing the window. I like that the upper right window shows only the sky.

A timeless view indeed, Jack, with a skilled use of the window to frame the pristine country scenery, as well as a good rendition of the inside wall textures and the effect of the light falling inside. Very good job with the exposure and post-work to achieve such a classy-looking and balanced result.

Very good idea, Jack! You kind of use the window as a frame. Moreover, we get what I call that "look through" effect here. You make us look at a beautiful landscape through a very original POV. Nice work!

Nice job, especially the exposure, always a difficoult task in such circumstances. I was wondering if enlarging the frame would lead to better results: taking into it a part of the furniture, for example, to enhance the contrast between "in" and "out".

Very pleasant composition. Tones and colors are so inviting, and the wall framing the window is interesting as a frame, too.

Very nice framing Jack, a simple picture but not necessarily an easy one, you've manage the light pretty well, the depth is excellent on the outside, very creative well done.

So simple? so great.
I like the way the window's fames devides the view on the exact border line between the clouds and the grass. Excellent shot, Jack, simplicity in its best.

Nicely composed Jack! This bright green grass is very constrasting with the pale framework of the window. The point of view is excellent and you managed the light very well.
Well done and thanks for sharing!

A window again from Jack !
The "cold" shadows in the window-frame leading to the "warm" outside, it's great !
Very nice shot, this one !

I'm tempted to play around with a workshop & make this a '4 seasons'. Changing one of the trees to yellow & red for autumn, desaturating the grass & increasing brightness until its white (snow in winter) & so on.
Great original idea, & well lit & composed too.

Very nice, detailed shot. I really like the textures in the foreground of the window alcove. The only minor detail that I would have liked to see is the horizon line of the sky/land shown in the top right wondow pane. This is just my preferance though.

Excelent control of the exposure! It's great how we can still see the textures of the walls and yet the outside is not overexposed.
Very nice image with a sucessful brake of the "rules". The feeling of being inside vs. outside is great in this image.

Ooops, almost missed that one. Great, Jack.
What I find the most attractive here is the way window panes divide scenery into four separate pictures, each of which is interesting enough to be posted separately. Some kind of "natural collage" :)

Merci Jack

If I might say, this is definitely one of the best shots on this site in my taste.
Pure art! ... reminds me on some frames from Andrei Tarkowsky's films.
Excelent shot, Jack.
Keep on jumping, Jack ... (Flash).

Felicidades por esta fotografía Jack, es realmente bella, has conseguido un equilibrio perfecto de las luces, a pesar de la diferencia de contraste, dan ganas de quedarse mirando a través de esa ventana, enhorabuena.

Great shot, I have a similar shot in my profile.
Would have been slightly improved if a different feature of the garden was restricted to one section.
Nice light and colouring.
Well captured.
