Photographer’s Note
Today, June 24, is Midsummer Eve celebrated in Sweden. That means a special midsommarstång (Midsummer mast), also called majstång, is raised on many places. (maj means in this case that the mast is covered with flowers and leaves). Around it especially children but also their parents and even other people join the ring dance around the midsommarstång, and dance funny dances. Usually Midsummer eve use to be cold, but this year it was sunny and warm.
