Photographer’s Note

I read recently on the Forum that there were too many cow pictures on TE and that cows ought to be banned. That may be so, but I can not resist posting this picture of a very clever cow. She was inside the fence you can see here and decided to simply walk out into the water to get around this obstacle. Then she happily ran away to freedom!

The lake here is Svinsjön (Swine Lake), close to Ash Grove, which you can see in my previous upload.

that's my favourite subject, Swedish cows are different than POLISH ones....can I have a chance to see the Swedish cow???
Or Milka Cow???

This is a very nice picture with a stimulating message. The cow looks good, the water is very fine - but, I have a feeling that this is on the verge of being oversharpened. Or is it something with the light?

comme je vois, tout le monde a besoin de fraicheur et cette eau dégoulinate en apporte pas mal. Une exposition apparement difficile avec des blancs un peu surexposés.

Hej Gunnar,
I read the Note first of all... what's happened to the cow after it escaped?
perhaps there are too many cows on TE, but there are also too many other views, too many other people... photos of the same objects practically from the same POV! so who cares? :)

The colours look a bit too saturated, but I understand after reading your discussion with Gert.
But the reflection in the water really turned out to be interesting!
In any case, nice cow, and a photo with some dynamism as the clow is moving, not just standing and chewing the grass ;)

Hello Gunnar,
how you make me smile at this clever cow. It reminds me of a cow that made a break for freedom here where I live, in identical circumstances. It lived for a number of years by the river and we would look out for it whenever we walked by the river.Long live cow pictures I say! Yours is particularly nice with the colours and wavelets of the water and well balanced composition.Its a little bit over exposed but who cares? I may even post a cow picture later just to support you!
