Photographer’s Note
To start this new week, a little more more sails.
Tonight I give you the back of the main mast and fore mast, with some light behing them to have a little look through effect in the canvas, plus a trainee warmly dressed on the right of the image (we must be in the morning and the nights have bee rather cold). I am now wondering whether it could be Pavo, the Finnish farmer who came on board with his friend, a medical doctor. Pavo was a very kind guy but, contrary to his friend who could specent English, Pavo had a major problem: he could only speak Finnish, which is not very common and not very usefull even among scandinavian. So the main communication means with him was limited to hand language...
Tomorrow I will propose you the front of the sails, for a little change.
I have also decided to change both the date and my fictious location, which will be the south-east of Sweden for a few posts...
PS Elements 5.0
And a very nice week to all.

Bonjour Emmanuel;
un peu de vie sur le pont cette fois.
L'été dans les eaux suédoises, faisait-il beau ?
J'aperçois un peu de vignettage sur les coins de la photo.
Une photo come d'habitude très nette et bien exposée.
Une excellente semaine à toi.

Hello Emmanuel,
Another superb sailing photograph for your extraordinary gallery of seascapes. It is very dramatic that the main mast is leaning, but the horizon line is perfectly level, indicating a fairly rough sea. The resolution and colors are so important here. I can see how the inability of the Finnish physician to speak one of the more common international languages, and conversely none of you to speak Finnish would make communication difficult. You can only hope for not serious maladies. The scan is very successful in this 17 1/2 year old photo.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Bonjour Emmanuel,
This sunny view of the masts and sails is quite a contrast to your previous photo. It's nice that we have no direct sunlight here, only through the sails, which have a pleasant warm colour. Good inclusion of the person in the corner too.
Regards,
Lars

Hello Emmanuel,
what a wonderful light!
And what a beautiful picture with the man in yellow. A good picture of the sailboat, with which we are become very familiar, with the details of the vessel. The picture is clear and precise. It has a good composition, sharpness and very beautiful colors.
Kind Regards.
Stella
