Photographer’s Note

A rather cold morning at the yacht club in the end of March. These swans were swimming by the shore opposite to the club.

So this is the start of a new series, right ?
Two swans and reeds, instead of two ducks and rocks, I guess this one will be more difficult to achieve ! :o)

Cold morning, but nice light ! I like the fact that those reeds are allmost all in the shadow, whereas the swans are very bright. As bright as the snow behind. As pure as the snow.

Did you try the water that day ? I think the swans enjoyed it more than you !

Ces deux cygnes nagent avec beaucoup de grâce et d'élégance , comme d'habitude. Nous avons ces oiseaux dans presque tous les pays d'Europe.
Une photo très nature.

Hi Magnus, I like this beautiful couple. It does look cold by looking at the bank. The sunlight and the shade made a very nice contrast. The reflections in the water are beautiful. I like this well composed well taken picture.

Hi Magnus. Nice catch from a cold morning, and I agree it does look cold even 5000 miles away! I like how wide you made the framing or cropping as it tightens up the depth well. Good shot Magnus!

Hej Magnus, detta kallar jag stillsamt och vackert. Fin komposition och ljus och jättefina färger. Visst är det fantastiskt med morgonfrost, åtminstone på bild :)

Hi Magnus,
It's marvellous to see how the surrounding is adapts itself to the swan. All kinds of beautiful white tones, but the swans still are the whitest.

white swans in a white nature... and a dark forest in background!
Excellent shot, even if the swans are a little bit overexposed. I like very much the graphic effect, this woul be a beautiful poster on my wall.

Quelle belle symphonie de blanc et de gris!
Une composition qui allie la beauté et la grâce des cygnes avec la finesse et la légèreté des roseaux.
L'emplacement des cygnes dans un point fort de l'image lui apporte un merveilleux équilibre.
