Photographer’s Note
From the last picture of the Borgholm Castle Window which contained no Water, no jetty, no boat and no Swedish cottage I today try to get back to focus.
The same goes for this guy who suddenly walked out to the end of the footbridge, sat down to try to fix his glasses - trying to get his focus back.
The place is just outside Karlskrona - the city is located on the other side of the water called Danmarksfjärden (Bay of Denmark).

A very good composition and a quality photo. The silhouete of the man seated is a must in this beautiful atmosphere, scenery and mirror water light magic landscape. Excelent sharpness, colors an management of light.
Congratulations and have a good weekend.

Bonjour Magnus,

Hi Magnus,
Yeah, you are back to the Magnus signature scenery pictures. I like it very much. This is another excellent water front shot. I like the open water and the beautiful scene in the background. I like the silhouette style of the person (is that you?) sitting at the dock trying to find the focus. I like the swan in the middle of the water provided a surprised decoration; I like the grass and the driveway in foreground in framing this beautiful picture. Well done.

Hi Magnus, I notice that you’re very carefully are coming back to you old habits. Only a jetty. I’m curious with old typical Magnus elements we see to morrow.

Hej Magnus,
Ja, her er der et rigtigt MvS-billede igen! ;-) Og det er et flot et med manden der sidder der så ensom... Svanen i det fjerne er også meget smuk! :-D
Hilsner,
Lars

Good management of light problems, Magnus. Although the water is pale and sky appears dull, the scene itself is very artistic. Good POV and tight composition. The tall reeds/rushes add greatly, as do the other touches such as the interesting stonework, the pose of the figure, and of course the swan. Well done.

A good one Magnus. The big foreground and low crop on top gives a fine depth. The Swan is a nice extra. And the guy in silhouette is in a perfect spot at the end of the bridge, it doesn´t matter that he is dead center as everything else is of center.

I like the compostion and especially the reeds on the left which balance the picture. It also looks good if the land at the top were to be cropped.
