Se acerca el momento de preparar un viaje al corazón de Extremadura: El Valle del Jerte, (Ya habrá que esperar al próximo año para ver el maravilloso espectáculo de la floración de los cerezos).

La floración de un millón de cerezos convierte este espacio en un paraíso teñido de blanco.

Sus habitantes celebran el acontecimiento con la Fiesta del Cerezo en Flor, en la última quincena de marzo.

Una vez al año y por sólo unos días el Valle del Jerte ve como sus colinas aparecen nevadas de flores blancas. Cuando empiezan a desaparecer las nieves de las cumbres, otro blanco se extiende por sus laderas, el blanco puro y aromático de la flor del cerezo. Este milagro es uno de los mejores regalos que la naturaleza nos puede ofrecer cada año.

It was about the time of preparing a trip to the heart of Extremadura: The Jerte Valley, (now we will have to wait to next year to see the wonderful spectacle of flowering cherry trees).

The flowering cherry trees one million converts this space into a paradise dyed white.

Its inhabitants celebrate the event with the Cherry Blossom Festival, in the last half of March.

Once a year and only a few days Jerte Valley sees as its hills appear snowy white flowers. When the snows begin to disappear from the summits, another white extends its slopes, the pure white and fragrant flower of the cherry. This miracle is one of the best gifts that nature can offer us every year.

Que lindas flores, super nítidas com sua macro, podemos ver detalhes delas e os galhos mais desfocados e o céu azul ao fundo tornam a imagem muito bonita!

Hello Charo,
the pictures in the WS fit probably better the rules of the TE but this one is so perfect radiating the atmosphere of springtime that I myself would have made the same choice. Elegant, fresh, nice - compliments!

belle photo de cette vallée de la fleur, très jolies, elles sentent jusque chez moi.

Hola Charo,
Una imagen muy linda de los cerezos en flor con el cielo muy azul en fondo, bien complementada por los WS's.
Lo mas probable es que pase por este valle el próximo viernes, de camino para Avila. Me recuerdo de pasar ahí en un verano hacia unos años y anoté en mi memoria que tendría que visitarlo un día con tiempo. Este viernes, una vez mas, no me queda mucho tiempo, pues salgo de Lisboa de mañana y voy a dormir en Avila, pero dime por favor se te ocurre algún sitio donde valla la pena parar un poco oh algún pequeño desvío de la carretera principal.
