Called the "Lady of the Cathedrals" Segovia's Cathedral was built between 1525 and 1577, to replace the Romanesque temple semidestruido in the wars of communities.
Therefore it is next to the new cathedral of Salamanca, the sample of late Gothic architecture more Spanish.
It was drawn by Juan Gil de Hontañón as a temple of three ships, with side chapels, and cruise header semicircular with ambulatory, surrounded by radiating chapels.
The Gothic cloister is 1470 and is the one that was attached to the old Romanesque cathedral. He was transferred stone by stone to its new location. They are beautiful with their bows Trace Cal. |

Hello Jose,
Your sharp details of the archicecture of this building are lovely, as are the colours.
My grumble is with the pov. I feel you should have stepped back and included the whole of the pedestrians or stepped forward and eliminated them completely. In this instance, half bodies don't quite work. Sorry!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Hola Jose Luis!!

saluti
Maurizio
