The Clerecía Salamanca began to build in the seventeenth century, although the works not completed until after a century. At first it was conceived for the College of the Society of Jesus, although their roles have changed over time and now houses the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
The Clerecía Salamanca is divided into three buildings: the church, school and residence.
In the interior of his church, single nave, is seen its baroque altarpiece Jose Churriguera with columns of salomónicas.En the canvas represents the main scene of Martyrdom of St. Stephen, a work by Claudio Coello.
At the same church can be seen on the great dome supported by four huge scallops and a real Esc flashlight that crowns the whole.
However, around the monumental complex of the clergy stresses the Baroque facade decoration plateresque, whose home is the work of the famous master of Garcia Quinones, which replaced the pillars of the original draft of Gomez de Mora by columns.
The two towers of the facade were also added to the original draft by Garcia de Quinones, like the magnificent Cloister inside the Clerecía. |

Una obra arquitectónica impresionante y una estupenda foto para mostrarla al mundo entero. Buen POV y, a pesar del fuerte sol, has conseguido gran nitidez y suficiente contraste. Esto, junto con una estupenda nota, completa un buen trabajo.
