[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There are no guided visits of the castle. We wander around, on our own, discovering the different rooms still standing, some of them in ruins and therefore dangerous to visit. It seems almost as if the castle was completely abandoned, which is not really the case. The profusion of coloured stones on the arches serving as frames to the windows and doors, are striking.

We come to the upper part of the fortress, where the view over the valley is breathtaking. We have a point of view that reaches almost until the coast, Cadaquès and Cape Creus.

As we let our eyes be enlightened by the surrounding view, we can’t help thinking about those who inhabited this region hundreds of years ago. So many prehistoric vestiges in this valley, menhirs, dolmens, drawings…

The cold and the wind can’t be felt no more. Our thoughts have taken us already very far from the time space where we’re standing.

Very nice one again Gal,
The colours of this one are wonderful and creating a nice depth in the composition, the lines are good, it´s really a nice job you did.

You've taken a picture worth looking at, and the sky is giving this scene a nice and dark atmosphere. I wonder if the foreground could be better with a slightly higher level. I see many colors there, but they drown a bit when the exposure is so dark...

In this one I like the way you capture it... the angle. Very well composed too.
Fine Gal.

Une image possédant un constraste interessant. La présentation est parfaite dans ce cadre très sobre mais élégant

Ah, no guides, my kind of attraction. Very dramatic looking against that imposing sky.

Voici une image simple, sobre mais très esthétique! Il semble régner sur ce lieu une atmosphère lourde, bien rendue par le ciel d'orage! Une image bien nette, très contrasté. Belle réalisation, bravo!

Nice capture here; strange colours on the stones. The sky is perfect for this picture; it accentuates the feeling of loneliness and sadness over a time when there were people here. Nice note too; you are quite poetic.

Salut Gal,
another impressive shot of this castle, i like the pattern created by the stones and of course the sky.
Very well done again!

I think I really would like this castle, given what you has told so far. Wonderful picture, with all these dark textures.

Very well done.

This shot has a great atmosphere, Gal, and the texture of the stones is excellent.
I like the low angle. Well seen and framed.

Unusual view, but I regard your POV as because I'm tired of usual postcards uploaded by others.
Thanks!
