Perfectionist that you are Gal, I'm not surprised that you've never permitted workshops to be done of your images. I find myself wanting to crop at the bottom but without the tools at my command to do so, at least not if I wish to upload the result. Perhaps I'll give it a try nonetheless to see what the result would look like. I know those few blades of green were important to you, for were they not, they wouldn't be in the picture... ;-)

Needless to say, I have the greatest respect for your technical skills in producing images, so my wish to crop comes not from criticism but curiosity. This image and your wonderful note are of a piece and work beautifully together. You'd better buy some fine glass with your new camera, since it would no doubt drive you crazy to have to deal with excessive softness and distortion that would complicate post processing at which you excel. There is a bit of softness in this image, though not objectionably so and the colors and geometry are fine. Catalonia is definitely appearing colorful and charming, as well as foreboding and intriguing. Wonderful work.

(I wonder if that is a dungeon at the bottom of the stairs, reserved for dissidents of the day... ;-) )

Nice composition of the castle wall. Great combination of the stairs, 3 Arches and the different textures.
I would dare to suggest another crop, you might not agree but here goes: Cropping most of the left side until getting close to the first left arch. The reason is that at the left top it is very bright and at the bottom very dark and I find it a bit distracting and stealing attention from the real interest objects in the shot.

C'est amusant, car cette image va à l'encontre des "règles" de composition canoniques (arcades centrés, ligne de séparation horizontale centrée...) et pourtant elle est merveilleusement équilibrée.
Peut-être effectivement l'effet de l'escalier qui casse la symétrie à droite, et également la petite porte en bas qui n'est pas tout à fait au centre...
En tout cas ça me plait beaucoup, les couleurs sont très belles et il y a une sacrée atmosphère dans cet endroit.

Composição muito astuciosa. Gosto bastante do falso centrismo da imagem, da forma como a escadaria e aquele pequeno arco na base trazem alguma tensão à composição. O tratamento das cores e da baixa luz é excelente, bem como das texturas.

O efeito de vinhetagem também ajuda a olhar para o centro.
