Sunflower field Photo

Photographer’s Note

Because it's my birthday today I want to post one of favorit landscapes. I was so lucky when I discoverd this landscape. That moment I was really riding on the crest of the wave: a enormous wide sunflower field, two diagonal picture elements (the tree a the white hacienda)and a sky where the direction of the clouds helped me to reinforce the impression of depth.
The moment I made this, I felt like ... today.

Hello Eddie, although the definition is not perfect, the framing and the luminosity are excellent and the result of the composition is very correct ..... I love Cordoba, I like the photo.

Wonderful landscape, i love sun flowers, i would like to get some from that field :) The sky is amazing, it looks like the tree had it's "own sky-space" above, without clouds.

Good idea to offer flowers for your birthday :-) Happy Birthday then!
These sunflowers are among my favourites ones. Combined with this intense blue sky and the movement of the clouds, it gives you a lovely sight.
Personally, I would have taken the shot slightly on the right, in order to have more diagonals (as you have them at the left corner of the flowers field) and keep the straight line at the right of the shot. Or redeuced to a square to have the same effect. Anyway, it is just an idea : this is a great composition.

Gelukkig verjaardag Eddie !
Ik vermoed dat jij het liefst zonnebloemen krijgt als geschenk.
Weer een fantastische kleurrijke foto. De rijen zonnebloemen die naar het huis leiden, de mooie wolken in de rechter bovenhelft en de boom links onderaan zorgen voor een heel goede compositie.
Wanneer ik je foto's zie, kan ik enkel vaststellen dat juni een prachtige reismaand is. Helaas werk ik dan steeds.

This is an outstanding image! The lines created by the rows of sunflowers and clouds give the shot nice direction and a good sense of depth. The placement of the tree is great with it being balanced by the house in the distance. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail

superb image, the colors are just great here, the tree is ideally placed under the blue part of the sky not being completely blue since it would have been somehow boring, with the clouds, it's great

About the shot,I have watching your sunflowers pictures here and in spite of I think the sharpness is better in the others shots I like more this one,may be for the light and the perspective,the lines from sunflowers which drive the sight to the house added to the cloud line which also drive the sight to the house.The tree in the middle of the sunflower field helps to give to the shot more depth.TFS.

I definitely like how you have composed the photo with the rows of sunflowers nicely leading the eye towards the distant building and those magnificient clouds. smart idea to include the tree on the left, it balances that part of the photo that otherwise would look a bit empty. beautiful clear colours, this is excellent work.

Dag, Eddie. Een veld met zonnebloemen op aarden en een wolkenveld. Ik vind het een mooi parallelisme. Aan de linkerkant zijn er veel minder zonnebloemen te zien en is de lucht helemaal vrij van wolken. De boom is zeer goed geplaatst in de compositie en de lijnen in het veld leiden naar het gebouw op de achtergrond. Ik vind de samenstelling heel goed. De kleuren ook. Misschien had het beeld een beetje scherper kunnen zijn, tenminste op het scherm. Maar ik zie dat de foto gescand is en misschien is het de reden.
En ik wens je een gelukkige verjaardag!

I have visited your gallery and must say to you that I let's not be what photo to value. You have a few very beautiful photos.
This one that I have chosen today is a great composition, very artistic and that looks like a painting, with a splendid landscape that combines the field of sunflowers with an impressive, very well polarized sky, and where the tree in FG and the small house in BG they complete a magnificent image. The drawings of the clouds in the sky are an excellent decoration.
Perfect work with the light and the colors.

Superb depth & perspective created by the rows of sunflowers leading right upto the horizon to the two houses in the far BG. The clouds are brilliant & adds a lot to your picture. I like the inclusion of the tree on the left which pivots the compo. Good work!

Wow, this landscape itself would make such a lovely birthday souvenir! It would seem empty without the tree and the house in the background. Here everything looks neatly arranged, even the sky, with the cloud seeming to be stopped by the building ;-)
