Well, in this photo I want to talk about a lot of things.
First let me say about the city where I took the photo: Burgos.

I think Burgos is one of the nicest cities of Spain. It is a small and nice city. It is difficult find so a city like Burgos. I mean, it is an old city with medieval buildings. Some of them are really important. The romanesque and gothic art are very important in this city and also its old history.
The cathedral, the castle, the river, the walls, churchs, palaces or monasteries.
But also has something very unusual: if you follow the river Arlanzon you will find a wonderful walk in the middle of a forest.
Yes, this forest belongs to the city.

Maybe something unusual but also something nice.

Once I've said this... in my last picture I talk about the Eurovision contest. Don't be wrong, probably that singer will go to Eurovision. But he really isn't a singer: he's an actor and in this video (sorry in Spanish) you will understand why this song.

But, the last thing I will say with this photo, tomorrow there will be another elections. We are going to choose our next president.
But someone tomorrow won't be able to vote any candidate.

Yesterday ETA killed a man who, time ago, belong to the city hall of Mondragón, a little village in Guipúzcoa (the Basque Country). He belonged to the socialist party and that was his fault.
His wife and one of his three sons were the first persons who helped him. A terrorist waited him and shot him a few times. Some of the shots were to the nape of the neck.

The major of the village belongs to a party which supports the killers.

Isaías Carrasco is the name of the last victim of ETA.
He was 43 years old and he leaves wife and three sons.
He was killed two days before the elections... it is the only way the terrorists vote in Spain.

Holà Carlos,

A very beautiful photo with the winter's light. Hot colours and a sky blue.

Well Coco, a nice photo again.
The region of Burgos looks very beautiful indeed.
I think I will spend a few days of my next trip to Spain in that region.
I also heard the news about the murder on
Senior Carrasco. Will this useless violence never stop?

Kind regards,

Eddie

Hi Carlos,
This is a very attractive image with gorgeous golden autumn colors. The vertical perspective is very well chosen and like the upper branches set against the deep blue sky. Great note. Well done and TFS. Gerald

Hi Carlos,
Amazing trees. Good colors. Original POV. Wonderful perspective.Good sharpness and contrast.
Georg

Hola Carlos,

Pepe

Hi Carlos
The light and the automnals colors are beautifull in this comosition. Your cropping is beautifull
Bertrand

I just finished writing my 20 critiques to find this beauty from you. I think it is one of my favourites from you in a long time. The winter light is wonderful with its golden tones illuminating the trees to perfection. Well composed from a low POV and a gorgeous blue sky in the background.
Sad story in your note though. My thoughts go out to his family. Did they catch the terrorist responsible?

Hola Carlos:

Nikki

hola,

Javier

Hola Carlos,
Wonderful shot!
Great composition, light and colors...
Best regards. Uğur

Hi Carlos
Beautiful composition, with good use of low horizon. The plane trail adds interest.
Sad note - what can one say?
Phil

Hello Carlos,
A forest inside a city ? Well difficult to believe but apparently true.
You make think about including Burgos ( And perhaps other suggestions too - I've been to Segovia ) in my next Spain trip.
Excellent one, and makes me learn more about Spain - Friendly - Izzet

Hello CARLOS,
simple and nice composed picture, good lighting
a beautiful place and generally a shot
that excites my feelings
bravo

Costantino

Hola Carlos:

Angel.

Your note is terrifying, Carlos and at the first moment I was thinking how would this match with your post. Maybe the dead leaves and the tree that is about to crash gives some of that - who knows.
The picture is great anyway and the low POV is a very good and wise choice. I wish it could be sharper, but that is a minor detail.
Peter

Sad story but the photo is so nice, the light produced wonderful colours, very serene impression...

Cheers
Alexander

Hi Carlos ;

Hello Carlos
The DOF and perspective are great in this shot. Your framing is also a bonus, as are the colours and the light. Nice work.
