Last night was one of the most intense in this years Perseidas´time. I went to El teide, 2100mts. over the sea, in one of the cleanest skies in the world, with the mighty Teide behind us, and this is what we saw, and my camera caught in 3265 seconds...

1 hour exposure???? You can do that with a D10??

Anyway, great shot! Sometimes photographs on the subject only show the effect. But here you have the perfect composition with the silhuettes on the foreground. Nature is graphic!

Great star trail shot. You have composed the shot well with an interesting silhouette in the foreground. I like the fact that you can see the different star colours in the trails.

what a good idea, i tried this once with a pinhole-camera, but te results where horible... this looks pretty sharp and well exposed...

this was certainly worth all the effort, and i quess the waiting wasn't that bad at all in such a bright summernight...

very beautiful..I have seen this in a book this week but yours is better :) I am not sure if I can do it with my camera but I will try and see..this is something I would like to see everyday in my place..kind of natural artwork for me...very well done..thanks..

I have seen shots like this before and yours is a very good one. The two things that makes it better than others are the of set position of the centre of the circles and the contour of the mountain with a little glow on the top and the snow.

Great Shot! What is the sensibility (ISO)?
The effect is beautyfull. We can see the center of axis of the rotation of our earth....
